Bite the Bullet

February 22nd, 2003

Today I bit the bullet and ponied up for my new TiVo Series 2. I have been reading up on the transition from Series 1 to 2, and it sounds like the new unit should be here in 2-3 days with TiVo's free shipping method. Hopefully Wednesday I will be setting it up.

Does anyone want to come over and transfer my season passes for me?

   which tivo did you end up getting? the philips? the sony? i'm leaving the house now to come over and help. i should be there in a few minutes.

   I got the 80 hour Philips. It's the only one Tivo lets you do the upgrade on. I can't wait for the online schedule thing.
