President's Day Storm

February 16th, 2003

presdaysnow It's been snowing nonstop for over 24 hours. There is currently 10 inches on the ground, and they are saying 16 to 24 inches by tomorrow. The weather guys are calling it the "President's Day Storm", and they don't think it will stop until monday afternoon.

I just took this shot from my window. You can see the cars in the street have snow up to the doors, and the park bench off to the right, is completely covered up to the seat. The snow is coming down so fast that the driveway can't be seen even though the building matenance guys cleared it a couple of hours ago.

With the temperature at 16° right now, I'm hoping the streets will stay bad till Tuesday and I get a little extended weekend.
