Ahhh, Almost Done

Today I had my last, almost, meeting with the NAVY and the Marines. Wow, it seems like it's been going on for years, even though it's only been about 9 months, of meetings. I met with the CNO, VCNO, CMC, and ACMC (that's the Chief of Naval Operations, Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Commandant of the Marine Corps, and Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps to those of you that are not on the inside). Yeah, the big guys.

I had a marathon of meetings, all day that is, and we got just about everyone signed off. I only have two spaces left, the CNO's conference room and the DMCS. It''s starting to feel like the end. I can't wait.

    It's amazing ....and the best of all is that you're getting them to agree. Even Bush can't do that!

    I'm thinkin' they ought to be makin' you an honorary member of every branch.
