Drive Enclosure

March 4th, 2003

byteccToday I got my new external drive enclosure. Isn't it cool? I got it from Deal Sonic, who had a really good deal, (only 47 bucks!) and they have the best customer service ever. I'm gonna take the 60 gig drive out of my old G3 and put it in this enclosure. The drive runs over firewire, so it should be a nice upgrade to running 11 megabits through the Airport. I can finally get rid of the old G3 that once acted as my backup drive, I can lose the monitor, table, and chair in my bedroom leaving valuable square footage for even more purchases. Ain't it great how that works out, spend money to spend more money. Not the best financial plan, but it's a lot of fun.

that's a great idea. i'm glad it came thru. what are you going to do with your monitor? i would think that ebay isn't a great idea, since you have to ship it, but i'd also think that someone would easily pay shipping plus a couple hundred bones for a 21" monitor.
