Find Me On Google

March 15th, 2003

I don't know how they tracked me down. I have never broadcast or promoted my blog, but somehow they found me. It was scary at first when I found out they had been stalking me. I thought, Google probably knows more about me than the FBI. But alas I must live with the truth that now I am a celebrity. (no paparazzi photos please)

You can try it for yourself. Try searching for dclal, or you can try no assembly required. Searching for the former gives the best result, no. 2 on the page, the later puts my site down in the no. 4 spot. Hopefully as Google reindexes their pages they will discover Fat Mac went out of business and I will move up to the no. 1 spot in the dclal results.

   1. if you want the folks at google to pay more attention to your blog, YOU are going to have to be more attentive to your blog. this was not written yesterday. you know that. i know that. and google knows it.

   2. i think you should add a link somewhere (easily noticable, near the top of the page) where people can comment on the blog in general, but not a specific blog entry, or just write you a note.
