Walker Texas Ranger

March 19th, 2003

So I'm just sitting here playing on the computer, with my TV going for background noise. My attention was brought up to the TV when I heard an abnormally large amount of punching sounds. As I came to focus, I realized it was Walker and the boys beating up on some no good gang members.

As I continued to watch, I realized that the punching sounds didn't stop. Now, at this point I'm into about fifteen to twenty seconds worth of TV punching sounds, but it continued on...

When it was finally finished, and I was able to stop staring in amazement. I thought I gotta put this to the clock. Thanks to TiVo I was able to detect 34 TV generated punch sounds in 38 seconds.

Now I'm no musicologist, but I think thats how many beats per minute a techno song has in it.

Even more fascinating, I actually got sucked into Walker for any span of time.

i'm so amazed that you were watching live tv instead of tivo. it must have been like living in an alternate universe. i bet that live tv pulled you into its vortex and that's why you hadn't been able to post on the blog for a few days. now that i know that, i am very relieved to know it was not your fault. i am worried about you though, still. walker texas ranger. that's bad. do you have any idea what it can do to your brain? even if you only watched the 38 seconds of punching. i believe you are at a serious risk and should avoid live tv for a week, take 2 aspirin, and call me in the morning (but not too early).

anyhow, love the new look of the blog. this is so much easier to read, and it's much much cooler.
