Freak Show Follow Up

November 17th, 2003

Karl Heinz Hille of Berlin, Germany has won the World Beard and Mustache Championships for 2003 in Carson, Nevada. He was up against stiff competition against second place winner Alf Jarrold of Manchester, England (check out those teeth) and third place contestant David Traver from the good ol' USA Anchorage, Alaska. David was out in full force with beard matching head gear.

Hille entered the contest in the Kaiserlicher Backenbart/Imperial Mustache category but was ranked best of show in Saturday's upset over the ever popular Jörg Biland from Switzerland.

Congratulations guys and gals. Best of luck next year.

   Looks like he's got two white birds pecking on his cheeks.

   Or maybe he just can't shut his mouth cuz someone put superglue in his mustache/beard.

   In either case, I wouldn't try to hug him........
