So I just got it, my new powerbook. My eyes were straining too hard on the 15", so I thought the larger screen size would help out.

50 inch Powerbook

If you haven't seen the specs on Apple's site yet, here they are:

  • Quad 3.5 Ghz PowerPC G5 processors
  • 32GB DDR512 SDRAM
  • 500GB Ultra ATA Raid Array
  • (2) SuperDrives (for easy DVD duplication)
  • AirPort Extreme2 Card (for connecting the the net through Apple's geosynchronous satellites)
  • Supports 3 onboard batteries (48 hours of battery life)
  • 50-inch TFT Display

This is so cool. What does it do that your last one didn't?

I always was a little slow......now I get it, but actually it might be cool.......you'd just have to have a very big lap!

Why the hell does it come with a trackpad? There's enough surface for a mouse and mousepad.
