Text America Tricks

December 5th, 2003

If you want to include your TextAmerica recent entries on your site you can use the following codes:

<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://mydomain.textamerica.com/mypage.asp"></script>

Where mydomain is your textamerica domain name.

There are also some optional variables you can put in the query string:

count - Number of images to display. 3 Max
fullsize - Display full size image instead of thumbnail
title - Display the title of the post
pos - Positioning of the "Title" (if it is displayed): "top" will display the title on top of the image

If you use these optional codes it should look something like this:

<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://mydomain.textamerica.com/mypage.asp?count=3"></script>

Here is the origional instruction manual.

When you and mook get the new camera I am gonna have to show you TextAmerica. This is the photo-blog, or moblog, if you will, in the side bar. It's free and very user friendly, ie: no web knowledge is required.

You guys can take all of the digital photos you want then e-mail them to a "special" email address and they will be there for the world to see.

    I just made a new TextAmerica account. It's http://mold.textamerica.com/

You just have to take a look to see what it's all about. I was very jealous of Sameer's "Things I've pulled out of Animals" section a while back, and thought I would try to get caught up.

    Oh, How wrong you are.

    Look again...

    http://mold.textamerica.com/

    On the left...

    What does it say?

    HI T!

Now read the top of the page. This is a blog for all to enjoy! Just e-mail in that moldy food from your fridge and it will be automatically added.

The pic at the top of the page isn't mine, but the pic at the bottom, .......... that looks like my kitchen!

    Yeah, What fun!
