McDonalds Diet Might Kill You

January 24th, 2004

Apparently following Hank Hill's example...

Morgan Spurlock decided to become a gastronomical guinea pig.

His mission: To eat three meals a day for 30 days at McDonald's and document the impact on his health.

Scores of cheeseburgers, hundreds of fries and dozens of chocolate shakes later, the formerly strapping 6-foot-2 New Yorker - who started out at a healthy 185 pounds - had packed on 25 pounds...

How completely gross! If this doesn't make you want to stop going to McDonalds, I don't know what would!

    So much for big Macs!

i know what would. the book i'm reading right now: fast food nation. it'll stop you from going to a whole lot more places than mcd's though, so read it only if you're willing to give up a lot... t

We just watched the movie super-size me by Morgan Spurlock in school in health class and this movie totally shocked me. I couldnt believe that a person would even attempt to try such a diet and to gain 25 pounds and have his triglicerids (dont know how to spell that) go way up to the point that the dr said if you dont stop this ridiculous diet it will kill you- it is just insane. I dont believe no matter what people say that mcdonalds is good for you. And on that same note i dont believe that you should beable to sue them because they supposedly made you fat, because if that was true you could sue the sun for giving you sunburn, and god for giving you cancer that you didnt cause in any way shape or size yourself. I did think this was a good movie and touched on a lot of issues that really needed to be addressed.
