Apple PowerBook trade-in ends Friday

According to MacNN the Apple PowerBook trade-in program ends Friday. I was really hoping to take advantage of the deal, but I was going to do it when Apple finally released the G5 powerbooks. I guess I'm gonna miss out on this deal.

However, do you think this could be a sign of something big on the horizon? Perhaps the G5 I've been waiting for?
