Ask and Ye Shall Receive

June 24th, 2004

Yesterday I sent out a desperate plea for a Gmail account, and less than twelve (12) hours later Vitaliy answered my call. I sent off an email, and while I waited to hear back I did a little poking around on Vitaliy's blog where I came across a comment from David, who had 15 14 invites left.

Again, I sent off an email and in less than 10 minutes, I had a new Gmail account. Thanks David!

I'm so psyched, I'm in the club!

Its cool when you log in and your welcome message from Google says:

You're one of the very first people to use Gmail.

(kinda like a geek right of passage), even though I probably like the one-trillionth person to get an exclusive account.

If you want to try and fill up my new 1 gig email account let me know and if I feel you are worthy, I'll let you know my new address.

   I hope you will enjoy Gmail as much as I am. For certain things and features it's an adquired taste, but I am sure you will get to love it.
